As of lately, the fashion world has been absolutely booming with creativity. Outfit proportions are varying, accessories like bags, bandanas, and sunglasses are full on statement pieces, and bold colors are very in. So in that Kanye has the entire Kardashian clan and their cars seeing neon. And as always, it’s still all about the shoes. It’s all very exciting until you realize that you don’t exactly have a Kylie Jenner sized budget. However, a smaller bank account should never limit your stylistic creativity, and every woman should get a, “Oh my gosh, I LOVE that outfit!” moment when she steps out the door. Here are some fall trends we’re currently loving for prices that won’t make you choose between style and dinner.
Be afraid of glistening fabrics no more! Metallic and oilspill (aka that array of colors you see on the ground when there’s, well, split oil.) looks are totally in. So basically you can now go from your night lab straight to the pregame in the same clothing.
Cher Hollowitz would totally approve. Not be able to afford these jackets and skirts? As if. Channel your inner private school girl with one of the cutest trends of the fall.
Extremely bright colors outside of the summertime? Genius. Thanks, Kanye. It’s officially acceptable to be the center of attention with this trend, so we suggest hopping on it before everyone else does. Because then if everyone stands out, does anyone? Deep thought.
Odds are that once the cold weather rolled in, big sweaters were going to make their annual appearance anyway. Now you can do it in the name of fashion! No one will know it was the plan all along.
Color-blocking, shoulder pads, and low heels are back. We’re starting to think that maybe never throwing away any of your clothing is the move, because if your mom had just hung onto that studded denim jacket, things could have been easier on the wallet.
Maybe Westworld had an influence on this trend resurgence, but we’re loving the mid-western vibes that have been all over the fall runways. Experiment with prints and loose fits and let your romantic side show.
The great thing about fashion is that you can pick and choose what feels most comfortable for you. It’s possible you think some of these trends are way too wild, but others seem kind of cool. Luckily, this Fall/Winter season runway gave us so many options, no matter what you wear you’re probably right on trend. Don’t be afraid to dive in and bring inspo to others around you! There’s enough fashion for us all.
